Located at the hamlet of Mealsgate between Wigton and Aspatria in the rolling Cumbrian countryside, this home from home provides a superb, relaxing base to explore the Lake District, Northern Fells, Solway Coast, Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage site, and the shopping towns of Carlisle, Keswick and Cockermouth. If you are looking for a pet friendly holiday cottage maintained to a high standard, with reasonable rates and which is convenient for the Lake District and Solway Coast, you’ve come to the right place!

For couples looking for a romantic cottage rental to escape to, we also offer short breaks during the off-peak months (September – March). Last minute short breaks are also available during the summer months (subject to availability).
